The dreams that we shared,
The thoughts that intertwined our hearts,
It’s too painful when I think,
I might not have you next to me,
That i can’t wait on you at the train station,
That you won’t drag me home after a celebratory dinner,
That i can’t hold your hand for a night out,
The sun turns cold only because it’s warmth fades,
The moon is extremely hot,
When the thoughts of us moo bathing linger,
It’s no longer funny,
I can’t crack my ribs no more,
The beauty of life fades without you,
The sense of belonging long gone,
And when i left, my mind went bizarre,
It’s hard to let it go,
For i remember how you kissed me,
Under the magical falls of wolf street,
I’ll forever be waiting for you.
Confluence
It hurts when the sun sets,
There hasn’t been a sight of you,
When the hurt is longing for you,
You are miles away, I can’t hold you,
It’s a pity that my palpitating heart can’t hold it,
My tears as clear as the crystal river,
It’s hard to contemplate that you not here with me,
That no matter how i long for you,
I still have to hold on to the thoughts,
I stare at the moon and your cresent smile crosses my mind,
As i walk across the ridge, memories flood,
I can’t help but reminisce,
On the thoughts we shared,
When we used to laugh until it hurts,
When I’d shower you with a myriad of kisses,
I can’t stop to imagine how different life would be,
If only o could hold you a little longer,
If i could hold you a little tighter,
If only my thoughts won’t always scamper,
When i hear your name,
How can i forget your dulcet voice calling at me,

Trifles are just but a way of life,
A life’s that’s troubled is a life that’s been lived,
It’s all been happiness, a few downs,
It’s all but a scaffolding of pain and laughter,
It’s never in vain, fail or win,
Family’s always family,
Betrayal and hatred,
The happiness and the smiles,
It’s never easy,
The troubles of being one, united,
It’s never easy to stand strong,
Your ambitions are your strong holds,
Your smile a source of strength and joy,
A smile a day keeping a doctor away,
Keeping you aloof,
Hoping and wishing,
For a life without troubles can’t be equated to a successful life.

Non-committal
Its only hearts that bleed,
The wounds that turn into scars,
If only time could heal,
It only taught me to live with the pain,
Taught me to watch by the sidelines,
It snowed me that brokenness is not necessarily painful,
The pain is in watching the ones you love turn into strangers overnight,
It’s in hearing them call other’s the pet names that they used to call you,
It’s in seeing them in someone else arms,
Seeing what you shared fade into the thin air,
The pain is too much that it ceases to hurt,
It’ss like being gnawed on alive,
The lost insight, now blurred,
It was pure and genuine now am stuck scathed,
Wishing and thinking, hoping and believing,
It was gone as soon as it had arrived,
At the edge of the cliff,
He howled to welcome a new dawn as the sun set
Frivolous
He needed to free himself,
But not at the cost of their happiness,
He would watch from the sidelines,
Support them when they needed him,
He’d be there for them,
Knowing well that some day they’ll bid him farewell,
And when the time comes may be he’ll have the mind to keep the pain at bay,
To stir the scars from bleeding,
Scathed and forgotten,
He would retreat to his safe haven,
And forever be the villain that he is and should be,
For it’s with clay that hearts break,
And with the sun the dawn comes,
With that his sun would set as theirs rose
Fickle
was more of fight between him and his beliefs,
May be he was holding onto the wrong things,
May be he had fallen for the wrongj moves,
There were alot of may be’s in his thoughts,
As they crashed and danced in his head,
He had enough of the misery that was creeping at his heart,
So he hid his heart from potential threats,
Everyone was a suspect, never had the intuitive aspect of a markman,
He was like a tadpole trapped in a disappearing muddle,
Amorous
He had to rush and convince her,
He was in too much of a hurry that he forgot his heart at the cliff,
And when she insisted that he was toxic,
That he was not good enough,
He simply said ‘its been a life of struggle trying to prove myself,
Though that you are blind enough not to see the future we have,
I’ll let you go, and when you return I’ll be long gone for eleven times done, One too many”,
With that he had made peace with his past and future,
His future would rise and he’d forever color life,
With crayons of beautiful scars
Protege
He was busy watching the sun rise,
That he forgot his relationship was setting,
He was dazed, thinking wishfully that this time she’d stay,
That she’d give him a chance,
He was going to make it beautiful,
Different, buh everytime he thought about,
His scars ached, he thought time would heal,
It only taught him to live with his pain,
To face his fears,
To mount his best and walk with his head held high,
There was a hope for as the sun shone,
He knew that the world would change it’s heart,
And his scars would be his solace,
The scars to his life ahead
Hedonistic
He was weary,
Now that he could sense,
He smelt her leave,
Saw her and heard her leave before,
He now feels her departing,
He tastes her departure,
He was playing strong,
Deep down he knew his life had taken a turn,
He was unsure whether he could survive,
He had grown fond of her, gotten accustomed to her,
Her sent filled all the rooms,
He was left yearning,
In desperation for her,
He swore that his heart would be caged in cryptic, cryptonian steel,
And he’d align it with almond diamonds,
For he wouldn’t let the love Pierce the little peace he had found,
His mind would be his all and his soul would suffer for her mistakes,
It was weird but he learnt that broken crayons still color
Hegemony
It was at the break of dawn,
That the darkness in his heart settled,
when he blocked the light from his heart,
His soul was left desperately gasping for breathe,
He strolled down the alley,
Sat on the tallest building to see the sunrise,
He was awed by what he saw,
His love had set and his mind had changed,
She had left one time too many,
Resounding
It was never enough,
Fed dog food in my court,
Misled, misquoted,
It’s quite relishing, seeing smiles fade,
Face slaps resounding across,
Flying in pit traps and emerging victorious,
Smiling at danger,
Frowning at happiness,
The joy of facing danger,
Its all pleasant,
It’s all beautiful,
It’s a perfect combo,
Only because you are in it.
Commemoratives
It’s never been easy,
Smiling, laughing,
Standing at the balcony,
Immersed, reminiscing,
It’s been ages,
Mortality, health,
I remember when she said she’d never leave,
Stuck between the rock and a hard place,
I wasted memories of a memorial year,
Commemoratives of a life wastrel,
Yes it’s never easy,
Sickly, overturned,
Longingly perturbed.
Breach
Free,
Affordable,
A major mishap of confusion,
It was free,
Yet expensive,
Education for all,
They called it free education,
They couldn’t afford it,
Was given at prince,
Misled into dependency,
The inheritance of illiteracy,
A country littered with illiterate graduates,
Stuck on the notion of the then B. Cs,
Blind to the changing times,
Pitiful,
Doubtful,
Dishonest,
The collar mostly matters,
White,
Blue,
A big misconception,
Breach of development.
Despicable
The nourished land,
The fatty livestock,
A land of milk and honey,
Swallowed whole by the avaricious beasts,
Emperors turned into puppets,
Chiefs into prison cops,
Kings into guards of treasure,
The people just but a bunch of labour,
Despicable,
Pitiful,
Ugliness,
Beautiful sceneries riddled with machineries,
The land excavated to the core,
The good,
The bad,
None of it was for the people,
The so called democracy.
Humiliation
Humiliation,
Betrayal,
Sacrifice,
Once upon a time venerated,
When love and patience were intertwined,
The woos and woes of fallen foes,
When strangers become friend’s,
Where friends turn for,
The unanimous anonymous crush,
Still stuck in the middle,
Wishful reminiscing thoughts,
Excruciating.
Buckle
It’s been days,
Long and gone,
She’s no weakling,
Not ready to buckle,
Not ready to lose face,
It’s a while,
She’s still strong,
Facing off her fears,
She’s been graceful,
A little anxious, petty,
It’s been time and time again,
Fortitude.
Anguish
She was in agony,
Pain and anguish,
Languishing over the events,
It wasn’t a mistake,
Betrayal,
Treachery,
It was all she harboured,
Anger,
Hatred,
She was taken for granted,
Left in the dark,
Defeated,
Detested,
Unforgivable, abominable,
Twinge.
Haunty
It wasn’t pride nor plight,
She wasn’t being haunty or reserved,
She was still deep in thoughts,
Reminiscing, taking into consideration,
Pampered and spoiled,
It’s all on love, life,
She couldn’t let it go,
Not ready to forgo,
It’s all in her palm,
In her mind,
Her soul,
Maniacal
Comet
It was a sunny shiny day,
The moon would shine bright,
The stars would echo in ostentatious constenations,
The day felt magical, joy and love could be smelt from miles away,
But he was all alone sat in a dark place,
Right aftet viewing the sunset on his own,
Like a lone wolf howling across the artic,
He wasn’t stranded nor lost,
He was not broken but scarred,
He was afraid, scared, may be, just may be,
What if, but forget it he would think,
The scars in him bled and his vision was blurred,
As the shooting star chased after the comet,
He saw the love the people shared,
He saw the shreds they’d become in few moments,
In his oveethinking he did know that Cupid hurt him,
He wasn’t alone just lonely,
Afraid of loving again
