Permutations

It was a fateful fatal day,
When the sun drown,
So did he, lost without trace,
His mind was in tatters,
His soul shattered,
His heart was in swaddles, scathed,
Incredulous pathetic, feeble, stuck,
The eccentric, ethereal memory,
Deeply embedded into his all,
She standing shoulder to shoulder,
Walking hand in hand with the enemy,
He was left in a sallow as if struck by lighting,
His pride, ego and loyalty lost to the wind,
How could he swallow the hardest pill of all?
Truth, as they say it sets us free,
Yet it hurt him in a gazillion ways,
A lost soul in a sea of newbie loves,
Stranded in the memories of a love well cherished,
This was mocking him to the very bone,
As tigers beget tigers,
Grudges beget grudges,
He had lost humanity,
Neither was he beastly,
He was hungry, thirsty, lustful for blood,
How could he let such betrayal go,
A treachery of a lifetime,
Vengeance, revenge is what he was after,
They say you need to dig two graves when in search of vengeance,
He wasn’t willing neither did he have the time,
He was like the king of the Jianghu,
Who had lost his peace and quiet,
